On June 11, UMD School of Public Policy Professor Peter Reuter was awarded the 2019 Stockholm Prize in Criminology along with former Swiss President Ruth Dreifuss for their breakthroughs in evidence and policy development on drug abuse.
The Stockholm Prize in Criminology is an international prize that rewards outstanding achievements in criminological research or application of research that results in the reduction of crime and the advancement of human rights.
