Master of Professional Studies - Public Administration

Capital Building

Learn the art of public administration and government management and establish yourself as an effective and impactful public sector leader.

The Master of Professional Studies in Public Administration (MPS-PA) is a twelve-month professional degree (or twenty-one month if pursued part-time) designed to provide you with the skills, expertise and networks to lead and manage organizations in the public and nonprofit sectors. In course work, you'll gain a strong foundation in the workings of government and policy, learn the frameworks and tools needed to effectively manage people and processes, and develop the skills to lead teams and organizations. Outside of the classroom, our location in the National Capital region provides expansive opportunities to complement your coursework with visits to leading organizations that are working at all levels of policy.
