Sydney Frost is a PhD student at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. Born and raised in Maryland, Sydney holds a B.S. in Public Health Science and a MPH in Health Policy Analysis and Evaluation from UMD School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the intersection of organizational culture and health, specifically within the fire service.
During her Master’s, Sydney was able to intern in the Office of Veterans Affairs within Prince George's County Government. During her internship, she gained hands-on experience working with and for local veterans, as well as learn how local government works. Sydney also maintains a full-time position within the Biology Department at UMD as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Human Anatomy and Physiology, 2 labs for undergraduate students.
Outside of school, Sydney’s hobbies include rock climbing, reading, spending time with her animals, and napping! She has two dogs (Ripken - go O's! and Buck) and three cats (Oliver, Poe, and Seppi) who are all her babies!
