Dr. Kun Wang will speak on "Has the Digital Health Divide Shifted Post-Pandemic?: Trends and Racial/Ethnic Disparities Among US Older Adults." This is a Southern Population Aging Research Center (SPARC) event, co-sponsored by the UAB Department of Sociology.
Dr. Wang is a SPARC Faculty Affiliate and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work in the College of Arts and Sciences at UAB. Dr Wang has collaborated with researchers from different areas, such as gerontology, psychology, neuropsychology, nursing, and public health, and authored 29 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals. Her scholarship also demonstrates versatility in advanced statistics, including structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, growth curve and mixture modeling, and cross-lagged panel modeling.
SPARC is a Demography and Economics of Aging Center funded by the National Institute on Aging (P30AG097132). Partner universities for SPARC are UAB, the University of Maryland, College Park and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
