(2026). Methodology report for greenhouse gas inventory and analysis by U.S. state: 1990-2024. Digital Repository at the University of Maryland.
The GHGIA by State methodology report expands on CGS’s April 2026 Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Analysis for the United States: 1990-2024 (GHGIA) report by presenting complementary state-level estimates of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions and sinks. The presentation of these updates on the upcoming GHGIA website is part of an ongoing effort to make U.S. inventory data accessible and usable to governments and other users.
