Beatrice DeBelen

Beatrice DeBelen graduated with her Bachelor's in Public Health from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and her Master's of Education in Leadership in Higher Education from University of Washington, Seattle. She is a proud member of NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) through her experiences (now Alumni) in the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP) and NASPA Graduate Associate Program (GAP). She is passionate about working with Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) students at 4 year universities and community colleges, specifically through multicultural recruitment/outreach, transferring, mentorship, academic advising, student programming and providing equitable access to education. 

She currently serves as the 2025 Vice President for Filipino Young Professionals FYP DC. The purpose of FYP-DC is to create a network of young professionals in the Washington, DC area, to provide education about Filipino-American heritage through social, cultural, community and professional activities, and to contribute to the local Filipino-American community.

Her hometown is Las Vegas, NV and she recently relocated to Washington DC from Seattle, WA.
