Crystal Calarusse

Crystal Calarusse is a PhD student in the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland, College Park, specializing in regulation and quality assurance. Her professional career includes leadership positions in international accreditation, including Chief Accreditation Officer of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) and the first Chief Executive Officer of the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). She currently serves as the Associate Executive Director of Program Development and Innovation at the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). 

Her academic interests include accreditation, quality assurance, accountability, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. She holds a Master of Public Policy degree and a certificate in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from New College of Florida.
